Fight Caves Guide. Empty
PostSubject: Fight Caves Guide.   Fight Caves Guide. Empty15th March 2010, 10:56 pm

Alright so I know some people might be wanting a fire cape or plan to get one in the future, I may be incorrect there or in my next statement but oh well, I think I might be most qualified to make one for our clan site so I'm gonna have a go let me know how good it is. Here it goes!

So you want the best cape in the game for defence stats attack stats other than mage and range and the best strength bonus cape? well this is the way I normally do it! (this is a range only guide and will include best points to use guthans if you take that choice.)

Alright so Jad is level 702 and maxes a terrifying 990, so watch out!

First I'm going to list the waves in order...prepare for a long list.

Wave 60: 360 180 90 90
Wave 61: 360 180 180
Wave 62: 360 360
Wave 63: 702 and four level 108 healers.

I apologize for that long as hell list but I feel it is needed to some people.

Recomended levels:
Range: 70+
Defence: 1 but is alot easier with 70+
Prayer: 43 but you should probably use 60 or 70+
Constitution: 60+
Attack and Strength: 70 if wanting to use guthans.

Now is my recomended inventory.

Helm: Veracs' Helm/Intiate/Prosylete helm/Robin Hood hat or a God D'hide coif. (only if you have no defence)
Body: Karils' body/D'hide body/Leather Body (if using a pure).
Legs: Veracs' Skirt/other barrows legs work as well.
Cape: Soul Wars Cape/Accumulator
Weapon: Rune c'bow
Shield: DFS/Zammy book/spirit shield
Boots: Rangers/snakeskin
Gloves: Best RFD gloves/Black D'hide vambs if they offer more range bonus than your RFD gloves.
Ring: Archers' Ring
Amulet: Ranging/Fury/Glory
Arrows: 3k Broads should be fine for any range level.

Inventory without Guthans:
Enhanced Excalibur:
100-300 Diamond(e) Bolts
9 Saradomin Brews(4)
18 Super restores(4)

Non Enhanced Excalibur:
100-300 Diamond(e) Bolts
12 Saradomin Brews(4)
15 Super Restores(4)

Guthans Setup:
Changes:
Use Guthans helm over anything else.
Use Guthans skirt over anything else.
Wether you have Enhanced Excalibur or not take 3 less Saradomin Brews(4)

Now for the waves and how to handle them.
NOTE: You can log out inbetween waves and not be reset or in the middle of a wave and you will have to repeat that wave you were on.

Waves 1-6: I don't recommend guthans yet if that's your inventory choice.
Italy rock just to get used to being here, watch out for the 22's they drain prayer every hit even if it's a 0.
The 45's unless they spawn directly north of you will get stuck on the rock and you can range them they recoil if you melee them when they die they will split into two 22's that don't do anything but attack you.

Waves 9-14:
Same as above with those creatures, kill off the 90's first as they range you may need to pray on them. If using guthans heal on the 90's

Waves: 15-21:
Back to italy rock for the most part nothing should reach you but the 22's you can heal on the 180's if you think you can tank they're hits or pray melee they max 250 so beware.

Waves 22-30:
Add it all up as i said take out the 90's if you can you can safe monsters around them then lure them back into italy and pick them off.
Again heal with guthans if needed.

Waves 31-37:
Pray mage the whole time pretty much you should do fine at italy. Don't get too close to the 360's they max a 500 with both mage and melee

Waves 38-46:
Take out 90's as soon as you can to prevent damage follow previous suggestions.

Waves: 47-62: use all rules above take out 90's then work on anything you can then prepare for the big fight.

The fight for the cape:

It's all been really easy up until now you guys here's where it gets a bit worse.

Turn range prayer on as that is what he normally starts with. I recomend standing at the South-east side of Italy rock on the side of the cave enterance. Wait till he attacks or you see him on the opposite side of the Italy rock. When you run out watch him to see for the attack and have prayer menu open and ready to click the opposite prayer you have on at all times. If you're lucky enough to spawn him safely opposite the Italy rock healing will be easy for you if he lands a hit. you can just run back into your safespot and heal without any worries of prayer switching while healing. if you're unlucky and spawn him elsewhere then you need to use F1 to go to your inventory after he attacks and you switch prayer and drink two doses of Saradomin Brew then use F3 to go back to your prayers. Switch if needed and F1 back to you inventory drink another dose of brew and Super restore dose to get your range back up. If needed repeat that for ranging potion or more healing.

When the healers come out you can attack 1 or 2 right after you switch prayer depending how safe you feel andgo back to the prayers to switch again, then attack the others and repeat till they're all on you. Here's where it gets really tricky, if you get under half hp you may wanna heal back up using the technique i said to use earlier. Tank it out keep prayers swithcing and heal when needed, when his right front foot only raises in the air you've won.

I hope this helps a little bit.

Ket-Zek (level 360) Special: Nothing much, can use mage and melee - protect from mage at all times.

Tztok-Jad (level 702) Special: Uses all 3 combat types and maxes 990, also has Mini-Yt-Mejkot healers. - Prayer switch and keep away from melee when healers appear get their attention and tank damage.

Jad's range attack pictures:
Jad going up as a signal for range - prayer switch here to range.
Fight Caves Guide. 15p31ih

Jad coming down from range attack - very little time left to switch prayers.

Jad's mage attack pictures:
Jad top view of mage and if he flinches from attack and you miss the signal for mage prayer look for the firey ball forming under him.
Fight Caves Guide. Okrhtx

Jad front view of mage attack - this is the view I recomend fighting him in at least I prefer it anyways.
Fight Caves Guide. 27xnjow

Jad dying picure - along with this your character also performs the cheer emote if not under attack by healers.
